We actually have another short cruise to blog about but ...

Our Lemon Mac is about to be replaced.  It is on its third motherboard which is now also failing.  The touchpad us almost unusable as happened with its predecessor,  due to swelling batteries.  The keys on the keyboard are pretty worn.  In short,  it is time for a new computer.

Since Apple has been going downhill fast ever since Jobs left us I actually considered switching to another platform despite the klutziness of the Windows environment.  If I was going to actually get back into software development Linux might have been a choice but these days I’m an end user,  no longer a developer,  so that wasn’t very appealing either.

One more Mac ?  It is a gamble,  but here we go.

The reason for writing this blog entry is that iWeb is no longer supported by Lemon.  The result is that I have to switch over to EverWeb and try to transfer over 10 years of blog entries into the new application environment.  It should be easy,  just write the website out to a local folder and then import it into EverWeb ... are you kidding ?  Nothing is ever that easy.

So,  if we go dark for a while it isn’t just in protest against inexcusable police brutality or the outrageous senicide in Sweden,  it is because we are dead in our tracks until I figure out how to get blog editing capability again.
